You are cordially invited to the reunion to be held the weekend of June 3 - 6, 2027, in Hanover, Maryland, located between Washington, D. C. and Baltimore. We acknowledge that not everyone has a Facebook or social media account, so we are developing a website to use along with the Facebook Givan Family Group as a basis to relay information.

This website is intended to provide all the information you will need in order to plan your trip, purchase event apparel, and enjoy your time in Maryland and Washington, DC.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The family reunion will run from June 3-6, 2027 and will be located in Hanover, MD.

  • Please see the family reunion agenda here: Agenda.

  • Picnic: Wear your reunion t-shirt along with cotton or linen shorts/pants and shoes that provide comfort for sitting, moving, walking, and/or spending time in the sun.

    D.C. Trip: Wear comfortable spring/summer wear along with shoes that are constructed for walking long distances. Shoes should have good traction on grass or sand/gravel.

    Dinner: The dinner will be semi-formal but it is also a buffet so wear whatever makes you look and feel great – pictures will be taken.

  • The cost will be $150 per adult (18 and up), $75 per youth (10-17 years old), and no cost for children (9 and below): $400 per family (two adults and two children unless children are below 10). All attendees, including children aged 9 and under, must register to ensure we have ample food and age-appropriate supplies for everyone. Please identify family members ages when registering.

  • Attendees must be registered and dues paid no later than May 4, 2027.  This will allow us time to make any necessary adjustments to ensure we have an accurate headcount for the bus ride, and to order the appropriate amount of food for the picnic and banquet.
